AGM-154C JSOW

Ultimate-fidelity, simulation-ready, low-poly asset of the AGM-154C JSOW.
------------------------------
The AGM-154 (AGM standing for Air-to-Ground-Missile), is actually not a missile at all, but a glide bomb developed as a standardised medium range precision guided weapon, intended for use outside of the range of most anti-aircraft defences, thereby increasing aircraft survivability and minimising friendly losses.
The AGM-154 is also known as the JSOW for this reason - the Joint Standoff Weapon.

Typically the AGM-154 uses GPS/INS navigation for targeting, making it a day and night weapon unaffected by adverse weather, but this also means it is typically limited to static targets.
------------------------------
Shown here is the AGM-154C which features an infrared imaging terminal seeker which offers added precision just before the point of impact. It also has a BROACH warhead (Bomb Royal Ordnance Augmented CHarge), which has a shaped charge that cuts through the target before allowing the larger main warhead to penetrate inside, making it especially suited to targeting bunkers and other heavily-armoured targets.
Other AGM-154 variants are the A-model (using the same BLU-98/B cluster munitions as other cluster bombs) and the B model (which uses the same anti-armour BLU-108/B "skeet" system as the CBU-97).
